Cleveland Kindness Challenge
Help us count a million acts of kindness from now until Dec. 15, 2020.
Whether it’s the simple act of making someone smile, helping a neighbor,
showing up for a cause we care about, or giving to those
who need our help — every act of generosity counts.
PLEASE NOTE: You don’t have to live in Cleveland to participate!
Are you from Cleveland or love someone in Cleveland?

The pack contains 25 child-led activities focusing on giving during the season of getting. Parents, I promise this isn’t a lot of extra work. The cards are numbered but we put ours in a big bowl and pick which one we want to do each day. For example-have a day of non stop errands where you are in the car for a stretch? Pick the card that asks to call a grandparent and ask them about holidays when they were young. Dragging the kids to the grocery store? Use the donate food card and have the children pick their favorite snack to drop in the donation bins that most grocery stores have up for the holidays. They go without their gummies and goldfish that trip, but get to experience active giving. Lowered the price oermantely to $5 per pack. Because couldn’t we all use a little more kindness right about now? #oneofaKINDkid #kindnesscards #spreadjoy #givepresence #raisekindkids #raisegoodhumans
My colleague sent me a fruit box in appreciation for my work on recent events. The thank you gift was not expected and was made me feel appreciated and acknowledged for my work. This gesture was a true unexpected act of kindness.
Wrote and decorated 30 holiday cards to go to veterans.
My wonderful neighbors cut my grass for me. They have done this for over a decade now. It would be difficult for me to do it, and they really help me out by doing so. I am very grateful.

We’re hosting a giving tree set up by a local family! Have something to give? Leave it here to decorate the tree, need a hat, scarf or gloves? Take what you need. Thanks, neighbors!
